Bmi regional is to resume evening flights to and from Brussels Airport from today (Wednesday).

Two services will run to and from Newcastle and East Midlands airport.

But its morning flights to and from Brussels (BM1101, BM1102, BM1233, BM1234) remain cancelled up to and including May 1.

Meanwhile, easyJet will re-start Geneva-Brussels flights today, but passengers are being told to arrive 2.5 hours before their departure time to allow for additional security.

All other flights will continue to operate from Lille until further notice. The airline said it was communicating its plans to customers 24-48 hours in advance of their flights.

Ryanair confirmed it will continue to operate all flights to Brussels into and out of Charleroi airport up to and including Thursday April 7.

Customers booked to fly from Brussels must make their own way to Charleroi and they need to arrive three hours before departure to allow for additional security checks.

British Airways has cancelled flights to and from Brussels up to and including April 7.

Brussels airport partially re-opened to flights on Sunday. It had been closed since March 22 when two suicide bombers targeted the departures hall, killing 16 people.
