Bodies found in JetBlue plane landing gear
The bodies of two people were discovered the wheel well of a JetBlue plane.
They were discovered after it landed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The flight arrived from New York City.
They were found during a maintenance check.
An investigation is taking place to ascertain how they got into the wheel well.
“The circumstances surrounding how they accessed the aircraft remain under investigation,” JetBlue said.
Just recently a body was found in a United Airlines plane’s wheel well after it landed in Maui, Hawaii from Chicago,
According to a FAA report about 80% of stowaways who hide out in landing gear do not make it alive to their intended destination.
