Boles named top Pegasus officer
Pegasus Solutions, Inc. announced it has named Robert (Bob) J. Boles, Jr. as chief operating officer.
Prior to the new position, he was executive vice president of sales and marketing for 18 months.
Mr Boles joined Pegasus after nearly 20 years with IBM in various sales, marketing and operational roles.
“Under Bob’s leadership, we have reshaped our entire sales and marketing organization. The payoff is already clear: we closed more business during the third quarter of 2004 than in any other quarter in company history,” said John F. Davis III, chairman, president and CEO of Pegasus.
“We are better positioned than ever to serve hotels and travel distributors with the world’s most innovative solutions,” said Mr Boles.
He added:
“Our goal is to transform the industry’s most critical business processes, thereby maximizing the profits of every customer we serve.”
The Dallas-based Pegasus Solutions provides technology and services to hotels and travel distributors. The company says it is the hotel industry’s largest third-party marketing and reservations provider.
