Booking. com launching Apple Watch app
Online travel agent Booking.com has launched the ‘Booking Now’ app for the Apple Watch, which it claims is the first instant booking tool designed specifically for the new wearable device.
"It is the first and only travel app to enable users to book a stay directly from their watch, and in just one touch," the company said in a release.
Apart from instant booking customers can use turn-by-turn real time navigation to the chosen property.
The app lets users save the location and also the room number during the stay, and allows guests to rate the check-in experience.
”The Booking Now app for the Apple Watch is designed to meet today’s growing preference for on-demand and instantaneous travel," said Stuart Frisby, principal designer at Booking.com.
"By integrating cutting-edge technologies we are able to streamline the booking process even further which allows users to secure the right accommodation with ultimate ease.”
The ‘Booking Now’ app is available to download in 15 languages at the Apple App Store from Friday, April 24.
