Guess what? There’s a new flight benefit after American Eagle changed its mind about charging passengers for non-alcoholic drinks.
The American affiliate’s experiment two months ago came to a halt after negative customer feedback, said a spokesperson.
There was a more positive response to buying pillows, blankets or nuts.
“We’re potentially looking toward doing more with that,” said the spokesperson.
American removed pillows from flights last year, citing the cost of cleaning the airplane between trips. The carrier has also eliminated food service on most domestic flights.
