Brand USA hosts Megafam to a dozen states
Brand USA recently concluded another MegaFam, with 60 UK and Irish agents on six US itineraries.
In partnership with American Airlines and British Airways, the MegaFam saw agents visiting 12 states and Washington D.C.
They went on tours in Maryland and Pennsylvania, Illinois and Michigan, Georgia and Alabama, Massachusetts and Connecticut, Washington D.C., plus California, Nevada and Arizona.
The trips culminated with a grand finale in New York City.
Brand USA’s MegaFams help broaden the in-market travel trade’s knowledge beyond the major gateways.
Itinerary highlights ranged from Philadelphia history to hiking Lake Michigan.
Jackie Ennis, Brand USA VP of global markets said: “Our recent MegaFam allowed us to shine a spotlight on the diversity the US offers, particularly the lesser known destinations.”
Gillian Wickers, Head of UK Leisure Sales for BA, said: “We know first-hand experience is invaluable to our agents for a destination as unique and diverse as the US.”
