Brandan group travel promoting prices at last year’s level
Brendan Worldwide Vacations says its message these days is that group travel offers great value, particularly if prices remain at 2007 levels despite the falling dollar.
“After Brendan set the price of travel programs for 2008 back in September, 2007 (at the time the brochures were printed), the US dollar declined in value by 15%. Brendan has not increased prices due the weakness of the dollar, so travelers can take advantage of our locked-in 2007 pricing,†says the company in a press release.
Group travel is still a bargain but “The challenge we face is getting this message out to the traveling public,†the company says.
Brendan packages include hotels, sightseeing, meals, local taxes and transportation either by luxury motor coach or train.
The company says even Europe is a good value for group travel.
