Western and Oriental Travel will shut down tour operation Ski Dream and get rid of its Key2Holidays brand, costing around 19 jobs.
W&O has just been bought by its director Raj Kumar’s own company Furze International, which now plans to develop other brands, such as its Experiences operation and the Regent Holidays label. It also wants to strengthen ties with the travel trade.
W&O managing director Kerry Golds explained that the way forward for the company was now to work on its luxury brands.
