British Airways apologises for US flight delays
British Airways apologised to customers for flight delays departing the US.
Customers complained of waits of several hours late Monday.
BA blamed a ‘technical issue with our third-party flight planning supplier.’
“Flights departing the US are delayed. We are urgently investigating,” it said.
Customers bemoaned long flight delays at New York JFK.
It was thought to be an error with the flight mapping system.
“This is not a safety issue. We are keeping our customers up to date.”
