British Airways releases more Avios-only reward flights
British Airways unveiled its next series of Avios-only reward flights, releasing hundreds of additional reward seats for Easter 2024 Easter.
The first Avios-only flights were revealed last month, on which 100% of the seats are exclusively available to Executive Club Members as Reward Seats.
The first two, to Sharm El Sheikh and Geneva, were snapped up by members in less than 24 hours, BA says.
Now, British Airways has opened five more return journeys that will operate as Avios-only flights in 2023 and 2024.
These are from London Gatwick to Las Palmas and Lanzarote later this year.
Additionally, on 29 March 2024, Avios-only flights operate to Nice, Barcelona and Tenerife.
Members can travel on both Avios-only reward flights or combine them with other available travel dates.
Reward seats can be purchased using Avios at static rates.
There is a minimum of 12 and 14 reward seats on all other short and long-haul flights respectively as standard.
Members booking the Avios-only flight can do so in any cabin.
BA American Express Credit Card holders can use their Companion Vouchers on the Avios-only flights.
