British tourist “gang-raped” in Spain
A British woman has reportedly been raped by a gang of four men after they tied up her husband and drove her to a remote derelict house in southern Spain. The Daily Mail today reports that the attack started as the couple were enjoying a late evening stroll near the Costa Brava resort of Cabo Roig, near Alicante. The 41-year-old woman was reportedly driven 12 miles to the house, where she was repeatedly raped and then abandoned. A police source reportedly told the newspaper: “This was a particularly vicious rape. The woman suffered a terrible ordeal. But she is being very brave and is staying on here to help us with our investigation to catch these monsters.” Report by Tim Gillett, News From Abroad
