British Travel Awards ‘Top 100’ featured in Sunday Times
The British Travel Awards was included in the Sunday Times with an exclusive supplement dedicated to the UK’s Top 100 travel companies.
The 100 companies were selected at the end of last year, following the largest consumer and trade voting campaign in the UK to find the best companies within each sector of the industry.
Nominations were invited from travel companies and personnel within the industry and votes were then gathered from consumers nationwide for what has become the most prestigious independent event of the travel industry calendar.
BTAs executive producer Jonathan Hitchens said: “It’s imperative in today’s competitive market that the awards are meaningful for the travel companies who participate. We are committed to delivering real value for our partners and to creating a forum where consumers can rely on the independence and integrity of the results.”
The Sunday Times supplement is the first of many initiatives to bring travel companies closer to the British travelling public and generate increased sales during this key peak booking period.
The date for this year’s event has been confirmed as November 15. Exciting new plans will soon be unveiled taking the awards and their partners to a new level, Hitchens said.
