BTA celebrations to run until 4 am
The British Travel Awards 2007 has secured a late licence to allow this year’s celebrations to run until 04.00 the following morning.
The awards will once again be held on the last night of World Travel Market, (November 15), and will play host to the official WTM Gala closing night dinner.
The awards presentations are just one part of the event – with Champagne reception, celebrity host, live entertainment, dinner with wine, DJ and dancing and the Island Cruises Jongleurs Comedy Club with a line up of top comedians keeping the party going until the morning at the Battersea Evolution venue in Battersea Park, London.
Gullivers Travel Associates (GTA) will provide complimentary coaches to transport guests from Excel to the venue in Battersea and Thames Clippers will also provide a riverboat service from Canary Wharf.
The GTA coaches will also take late night revellers back into London to several drop off points throughout the night.
The BTAs will recognise more than 100 of the best companies in travel as voted for by industry professionals and consumers.
Votes are being gathered until September 19 when panels of judges will consider the entries of category finalists.
