BTA launches consumer travel magazine

Sunday, 24 Aug, 2011 0

The British Travel Awards has launched an online consumer travel magazine, Check In, containing prizes, promotions, holiday inspirations and deals.

The first issue goes behind the scenes of the Thomson Dream, the setting for Sky1HD's new cruise ship talent show 'Showboaters'.  It also highlights tours from around the world and has tips from TripAdvisor.

Prizes in the first issue of Check In include a £1,000 holiday voucher, a first-class tour of Turkey and a seven night cruise on the Danube.

The magazine is interactive, with consumers able to click and go directly to book featured holidays.  The debut issue of the digital quarterly will be promoted to 17 million customers, consisting of BTA voters and customers of BTA partners, including headline partner Lloyds TSB.

The magazine is available at www.magazine.btacheckin.com/august2011
