Budapest Airport celebrates new Shymkent flights with Kazakhstan based SCAT Airlines
Budapest Airport has greeted its newest airline customer, SCAT Airlines.
Airport officials celebrated the launch of a new non-stop flight to Shymkent, Kazakhstan, operated by the Kazakh airline.
The twice-weekly service connects Budapest with one of Kazakhstan’s key economic and cultural hubs.
For the airport it is a new airline, destination, and country added to its network.
The route operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays, aboard Boeing 737 Max aircraft.
The new route is a major milestone in Budapest Airport’s efforts to strengthen its links with Central Asia.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the launch of this direct route to Shymkent,” said Markus Klaushofer, CCO, Budapest Airport.
“This new service not only strengthens our network but also opens up valuable travel opportunities for both business and leisure.”
