Click Travel founder dies, aged 41
Click Travel chief technology officer Simon McLean, also one of the founders of the company, has passed away aged 41.
The travel management company said he was an ‘extraordinary talent, a wonderful colleague and good friend’ and said he will be greatly missed.
He founded the Birmingham-Based business with his brother James.
The company said he leaves a ‘tremendous legacy’ in Click Travel with a strong board and management team, further strengthened by recent investment from BGF.
CEO Jill Palmer said: "Simon achieved incredible success, and at the same time will be remembered as a very humble individual. Everyone who knew him was touched by the warmth of his personality. He will be sadly missed as a colleague and friend."
