Butchers and Bakers, Scolars and Students covered by 2008 Albatorss Group Brochure

Friday, 21 Aug, 2007 0

Gardeners and gourmands, scholars and students, artists and architects – and butchers and bakers and candlestick makers – are all covered by the Albatross Group’s 2008 We `do’ Groups brochure.

Core destinations for Albatross are Europe, UK, Turkey and New Zealand with a product base that ranges from small specialty groups to large, coach charters.

The company’s focus is on intelligent itinerary planning supported by local knowledge with direct contact available with offices in Europe or Turkey should the unexpected occur.

It specialises in designing itineraries which follow the path less travelled, giving its clients the opportunity to savour experiences which differ from those of regular, branded tours.

Special interest groups – wine, architecture, gardening, art, food – are catered for along with sporting associations, school parties and orchestral groups.

The company also has extensive experience in presenting themed programmes such as murder tours, ghost hunter or shopping tours, ANZAC commemorative tours, Christmas tours and trips to the Oberammergau Passion Play.

Albatross also has a significant presence in the school tours market and has organized groups travelling independently using rail passes, others combining rail and coach services and those requiring lengthy coach charters and professional tour guides.

One option is to take an allocation on one of the company’s scheduled groups, all of which are guaranteed to depart.

Albatross Travel handles all groups directly and avoids third party sub-contractors, wherever possible. It quotes net rates in $AUD or $NZD and guarantees quotes against currency fluctuations, Quotes can also be provided in Euros, GBP and USD.

The Groups brochure includes an agency stamp box so agents can brand the brochure and distribute to potential clients.

Managing director Euan Landsborough said the 2008 ‘We `do’ Groups’ brochure underlined the company’s commitment to its primary goals- safety, security and satisfaction.
