CanJet selects Softvoyage
Canada’s low-fare airline CanJet named Softvoyage SAX technology to deliver its bargain-priced web fares to a wider audience, the Halifax-based company said. CanJet said the new system would reduce distribution costs. For Softvoyage SAX customers, the new arrangement will allow them to sell CanJet web fares directly through their online booking systems. When an air request is made through SAX, millions of airfares are searched in just seconds. The technology immediately searches several distinct data bases including BSP fares on GDS; tour operator charter fares; consolidator fares and now, the CanJet inventory web fare database where applicable. CanJet Airlines, founded in 1987, provides scheduled service to ten destinations in Eastern and Central Canada as well as Florida with Boeing 737 aircraft.
