Promoters of Trinidad & Tobago say nightly room rates as low as $52 at B&B’s show the twin Caribbean nation is family friendly for vacationers on a budget.
 

“Whether hanging out in the capital city Port of Spain, enjoying the electric nightlife and epicurean diversity or exploring nature on the tranquil shores of Tobago, guests will have the opportunity to carve out a personalized experience while visiting the twin-island destination,” says a promotional piece.

• Monique’s is a family-owned and operated hotel that was once a private residence. Surrounded by a tropical landscape, rates start at USD$84.
 

Trinidad & Tobago is located in the southeastern region of the Caribbean.
 

Trinidad is often called the “Cultural capital of the Caribbean.”
