Caribbean Sustainable Tourism on UTube
A five minute “CMEx News Update” was produced by Amber Sizemore, a Temple University student, who along with her brother Cameron filmed, produced and edited the video while on location at CMEx – The Caribbean Media Exchange on Sustainable Tourism – in St. Lucia this past December.
The video was played to delegates during the last day of the conference.
Here’s what Amber had to say: “The Caribbean Media Exchange is an outstanding organization and continues to shine in the area of Sustainable Tourism. CMEx understands the importance of educating Caribbean media and other outlets about the value of sustainable tourism in order to develop wealthier and healthier communities. I participated in the conference during May 2007 and December 2007. My role as a youth delegate has been rewarding. My input and work has been well received by other delegates. At the December 2007 workshop in St. Lucia my brother and I created a CMEx News Update video piece. The five-minute video recaps hot topics that were debated and discussed, and also includes interviews done with conference speakers while capturing the essence of the beautiful island.”
