Carino Hotels announces new chain code and appoints senior staff
Carino Hotels & Resorts Worldwide announced the new chain code “UN”.I n addition to providing the ability for members to track the source of all reservations, the GDS code also opens up new opportunities for exposure and promotion of the properties.
President Joe Carino is confident that the portfolio of independent upscale member hotels will embrace the “UN” chain code and it will become well known and easy to identify – “UN”forgettable! From an advertising and marketing perspective, it can be used creatively in a variety of advertising promotions to ensure maximum retention by the B2B and B2C segment.
Formerly known as Carino Collection, the organizations new name of Carino Hotels & Resorts Worldwide more accurately reflects the global nature of the company and its plans to grow and expand its brand internationally. The company will also have a new logo, as well as a new look and feel to all of its marketing and advertising materials, including the Web site, directory and all collateral materials to be more in line with the upscale portfolio the company currently maintains.
The CARINO Collection, a sales and customer information company dedicated to assisting luxury hotels, is pleased to announce the appointments of five individuals to new senior staff positions within the organization. The positions were created as a part of new key growth initiatives CARINO Collection is planning in the areas of sales, marketing and reservations in 2009.
This includes the addition of Charlotte A. Mordaunt as Vice President, Revenue Management and Reservations and Edward Socorro as Vice President, Advertising and Marketing; and the promotion of Peter M. Kressaty to Senior Vice President, Colleen McCollum as Vice President, Sales; and Sandy B. Goicoechea as Executive Assistant.
