Carlson Rezidor brings Radisson RED brand to Malaysia

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is bringing its Radisson RED brand to Malaysia with the announcement of a new build 166-room property coming to Kuala Lumpur.
 
In collaboration with Masteron Sdn Bhd, the hotel will be sited in the city’s Golden Triangle commercial district close to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.
 
Spanning 27 floors, the hotel will feature F&B outlets, Meet-Event rooms, a rooftop pool and gym.
 
"We are delighted to welcome our new partner in Malaysia, where we will develop a property at the heart of the regional powerhouse of Kuala Lumpur. This deal will grow our presence at the centre of the country’s exciting economic growth story, and in one of its top tourist destinations," said Thorsten Kirschke, president, Asia Pacific, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
 
 
Radisson RED is Carlson Rezidor’s upscale lifestyle select brand targeted at Millennial travellers.
 
Carlson touts the Radisson RED experience as one that combines work and play, and inspired by design, art, music and fashion.
 
"The Asia Pacific region remains the most promising and energetic growth region for Carlson Rezidor, and we see a strong trajectory over the coming years. We only see our commitment to the region growing," Kirschke added.
 
Carlson Rezidor has 107 hotels in operation in Asia Pacific and 88 more under development.
