Carlson signs global Fiat deal
Carlson Wagonlit has signed a deal with Fiat to manage its worldwide travel arrangements.
The travel management giant said it will strive to save the vehicle manufacturer 15% over the next three years.
The deal follows a close relationship between the two firms in Italy where Carlson managed 70% of Fiat’s travel spend.
Liliana Frigerio, Carlson executive vice president global accounts and solutions group, said a performance-related strategy was key to the deal.
“Under our incentive-based approach our performance is rated directly according to the savings our clients achieve,” she said.
A joint steering committee will evaluate Carlson’s performance.
