Carlson Wagonlit restructures management team
Carlson Wagonlit Travel has created a ‘North European Zone’, led by former Vice President UK Jim Tweedie (pictured).
The new territory covers the UK, Denmark and Sweden with Mr Tweedie taking on the role of Executive Vice President North European Zone.
Mr Tweedie said: “The establishment of the new North European Zone indicates the way the business travel industry is moving – towards greater harnessing of pan European and global resources for the benefit of all clients”.
Other senior members of the new region’s team are:
Bengt Kerger (Director of Operations Scandinavia); Paul Boyle (Director of Operations UK), Robert Brett (Director of Finance), Thomas Lundberg (Sales & Marketing Director) and Robert Coenen (Director of Information Technology). Pauline Sneider has been appointed Director of Account Management and Sue Kavanagh named as Director of Human Resources.
Ian Gibb remains Sales Director for the UK and John Munslow retains Industry Relations responsibilities in the UK, reporting to Mr Tweedie.
Mr Tweedie added: “I am confident that the fusion of pan European talent on the team will enable the company to deliver swiftly the service enhancements to our customers that they deserve. I look forwarding to working with the new senior management team and wish them well in their new roles.”
