Carnival Australia Launches the Complete Cruise Solution
Carnival Australia has launched a new trade brand – Complete Cruise Solution – to represent its six leading cruise lines and integrate their trade marketing initiatives.
Complete Cruise Solution has been created to save agents time and effort by providing a central source of information and support for P&O Cruises in Australia and the UK, Princess Cruises, Cunard, Seabourn and Costa Cruises.
To mark the move, agents booking a cruise with P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises or Cunard via the Polar Online booking system by April 30, 2006, will qualify for a one per cent commission override*.
Launching the new brand, Carnival Australia Vice President Sales John Molinaro said while each of the six cruise lines would retain its individual brand identity, Complete Cruise Solution would provide a single contact point for all training and sales support.
Mr Molinaro said Complete Cruise Solution would have a dedicated sales force, including nine District Sales Managers operating across Australia and a large sales support team.
“Complete Cruise Solution will be a great help to travel agents, providing a convenient reference point for a wide range of cruise products.
“In fact, it will now be easier than ever for agents to recommend a cruise holiday to their customers, whatever type of cruise experience they’re after. The Complete Cruise Solution has something to suit all tastes.
“We believe this move represents a perfect solution for agents and for all six of our market leading cruise brands.”
Mr Molinaro said the Complete Cruise Solution represented more than 35 ships sailing to more than 250 ports worldwide.
Carnival Australia President Gavin Smith said: “The introduction of Complete Cruise Solution is an exciting move for both our business and the travel trade. Now when travel agents receive a product update from us, they really are receiving a complete overview of the cruise industry.”

* Override offer does not apply to wholesalers. Offer only applies for P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises and Cunard cruises booked via Polar Online by April 30, 2006.
