Carnival Australia Training Seminars – Coming to a Town Near You
Carnival Australia is marking the start of its biggest cruise season Down Under with one of its biggest training seminars series yet.
The company will hold 72 travel agent seminars around Australia over a five-week period, with the first seminars getting underway in Tasmania this week.
Carnival Australia Vice President Sales John Molinaro said all Australian States and Territories would be covered in the seminar program, with more than 3000 agents expected to attend the briefings.
“The fact that Carnival Australia is about to start its biggest cruise season here indicates just how active the local cruise market is, “ Mr Molinaro said.
“There’s a lot happening in our industry and we want to make sure that agents are across the latest developments so they can make the most of growing consumer interest in cruising.”
Topics on the seminar agenda include the latest technology advances for P&O Cruises Australia, such as Cruise Personaliser, as well as product developments across the seven brands represented by Carnival Australia: P&O Cruises Australia, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, Cunard Line, Costa Cruises and Carnival Cruise Lines.
Mr Molinaro said agents attending the briefings would also learn the latest news about P&O Cruises’ newcomer Pacific Star, which is presently undergoing a $20 million refurbishment before it starts sailing from Brisbane in December.
All agents attending the seminars will receive a coupon booklet enabling them to earn extra commission on their cruise sales or onboard spending vouchers for their clients. All attendees will also go into a draw to win one of seven cruises.
