Carnival offers deposit-free group deals

Tuesday, 18 Mar, 2014 0

Carnival is launching a new travel agent promotion with no deposit requirement for group bookings and a more attractive free cruise berth policy.

For sailings departing from November 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015, no initial deposit is required for groups and one free place will be offered for every 10 full fare guests.

Under the cruise line’s normal terms, one free cruise berth is given for every booking of 15 guests.

Carnival is offering a further enhancement for West Coast sailings of three and four days during this period with a tour conductor credit for every eight full fare-paying guests.

Mike Julius, Carnival’s senior managing director of US sales said the waiving of deposits was fueled by agent feedback and the more attractive free cruise berth terms will give travel partners even greater selling opportunities.

Group fares valid until April 30, 2015 start at $229 for three- to five-day cruises and from $449 for voyages of six or more days.
