Carnival Venezia to homeport at Port Canaveral
As Carnival Cruise Line prepares to debut Carnival Venezia, it is opening bookingss for the ship which homeports in Port Canaveral in 2024.
Carnival Venezia will reposition from New York with a 12-Day Southern Caribbean Carnival Journeys cruise departing on December 6, 2024.
It visits St. Thomas; St. Croix; Aruba; Curacao and Grand Turk before arriving at Port Canaveral.
It then offers a a four-day Bahamas cruise before sailing a series of seven-day Caribbean cruises with rotating itineraries.
It will also sail two special 14-day Carnival Journeys cruises.
The ship will then return to New York in the spring of 2025.
“Carnival Venezia’s seasonal operation in Port Canaveral bring our deployment there to five vessels,” said Christine Duffy, CCL president.
Carnival Venezia is currently undergoing an enhancement project in Spain and will be the first ship to showcase ‘Carnival Fun Italian Style.’
The ship was originally built under Carnival’s sister brand, Costa Cruises.
