Carlson Wagonlit Travel has confirmed the appointment of Kevin O’Connor as executive vice president and chief information officer.

O’Connor is a member of the CWT executive team and reports to Douglas Anderson, president and chief executive officer.

CWT has consolidated its IT and product delivery teams under a dedicated leader, which it says will help companies improve the value of their managed travel programmes through innovative products and services.

"Meeting and anticipating the needs of our customers is our key priority. Kevin’s appointment is about making sure that we continue to provide exceptional value and service to travellers and companies," said Anderson.

CWT said O’Connor was a recognised global IT and technology leader with over 20 years experience. He has joined CWT from NYSE Technologies where he was CIO. His experience includes global head of equities IT for UBS, global head of applied technology for Deutsche Bank, and managing director of Morgan Stanley.
