CD-Tr@velBus – New online market studies

Friday, 28 Nov, 2006 0

CD-Tr@velBus is an online omnibus study, launched in Autumn 2006.

What is CD-Tr@velBus? It is a market research questionnaire, sent out to a selected and targeted sample of people by email on a monthly basis. It takes around 10 minutes to complete in total, and all the questions relate to Travel and/ or Tourism in some way.

Clients can participate in the Study by contributing questions. These can range from a simple ‘Yes/No’ question – “Have you ever visited (Destination)?” to a precoded question “Which of these (destinations) have you ever visited?”. A more complicated response would be an open ended question “How could (Attraction) have made your experience better?”

Clients can choose whether to have just one or two questions to get a quick snapshot picture; a set of 4 or 5 questions to get more detailed responses; or can take over the entire Omnibus for that month, and know that they are getting a real in depth insight into their issues.

Consumerdata has a database of almost 7 million people in the UK who have travelled over the last couple of years. Within that sample, we have over ½ million with current email addresses and who have opted in to be researched. These people are profiled by the normal demographic criteria of age, geographic location, children etc, but we can also target those who have visited specific destinations, or who take particular types of holidays.

Respondents are incentivised to respond to each Omnibus Study by a Prize Draw, and both clients and respondents remain anonymous. This means that you can ask sensitive questions without revealing your identity.

All the results can be cross tabbed by whatever criteria suit you, and are available within a very short timeframe of the survey (normally reported within 10 days)
