CDC ditches social distancing recommendations
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has eased Covid-19 guidelines, saying people no longer have to follow social distancing.
“The current conditions of this pandemic are very different from those of the last two years,” said the CDC’s Greta Massetti.
The agency also no longer recommends that people should isolate after coming into close contact with a Covid positive person.
The CDC estimates about 95% of American adults have acquired immunity, from being vaccinated or prior infections.
