Celebrity Cruises names former Airbnb ad executive as CMO

Former Airbnb ad executive Peter Giorgi has been appointed as Celebrity Cruises new chief marketing officer.
 
Giorgi joins the line on April 15 and will be responsible for global marketing strategy.
 
He was recently head of global advertising for home-sharing company Airbnb and also spent several years at advertising agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
 
"We are looking forward to bringing his many years of creativity, brand strategy, disruptive and bold marketing, and success with other well-known consumer brands," said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, CEO of Celebrity Cruises.
