Celestyal cancels more Med cruises
Small ship cruise line Celestyal has cancelled two additional cruises for late March.
The Celestyal Discovery is still unable to reposition from the Middle East to the eastern Mediterranean.
It announced two more Greek islands sailings on Celestyal Discovery are cancelled, departing on 27 and 30 March respectively.
The cruise line recently cancelled two earlier Greece sailings.
“As the conflict in the Middle East continues, and in close coordination with the relevant authorities, we needed to delay the repositioning of the Celestyal Discovery ahead of the start of its Mediterranean cruises,’ the line said in a statement.
“Both ships (including Celestyal Journey) are fully operational, and their departures from the region will proceed according to instructions from the relevant authorities.”
Guests booked on these cancelled cruises can request a full refund or future cruise credit.
“We are closely monitoring developments and remain committed to resuming our scheduled cruises as soon as possible.”
Celestyal Journey is currently in Doha, Qatar.
