Cendant Travel Distribution Services (Cendant TDS) entered a multi-year distribution and services agreement with Choice Hotels International.

The agreement provides Choice Hotels with access to Cendant TDS’ products and services, and also adds more than 2,000 Choice Hotel properties to Cendant.

Choice Hotels has eight lodging brands, including Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality Sleep Inn, Clarion, MainStay Suites, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn.

The agreement will provide the distribution of specially negotiated rates with each of the brands through TDS’s various distribution channels.

Choice Hotels will also provide Cendant TDS with rates for its Galileo Web!Hotels program, which provides discounted leisure hotel rooms to Galileo travel agents throughout North America.

“This agreement with Cendant TDS reinforces our overall strategy to make our hotel properties accessible to a broad global customer base,” said Mary Beth Knight, Choice Hotels’ vice president, e-commerce.
