Centara signs two hotels in Laos
Thailand based Centara Hotels & Resorts has kicked off a new year with a trio of hotel signings.
It has sealed hotel management agreements for three new properties in Thailand and Laos.
It adds a total of 304 more rooms to its group portfolio.
In Laos, the Centra by Centara Riverside Resort Vang Vieng and Thavisouk Riverside Resort & Spa Vang Vieng, Centara Boutique Collection are being rebranded and are expected to reopen in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The two hotels are located on opposite sides of the Nam Song River, and linked by a private bridge.
"We are delighted to be partnering with Thavisouk, and to draw on their wealth of local expertise and hospitality experience for Centara’s expansion," said Thirayuth Chirathivat, Centara CEO.
It is also opening the Centara Boutique Collection, Roukh Kiri Khao Yai Hotel, which is situated within the Khao Yai National Park.
It features 12 modern barn-styled villas perched on a hill.
