Center Parcs appoints new chairman
Center Parcs appointed a new chairman as American investment group Starwood Capital emerged as a bidder for the all-weather holiday parks operator.
Current owner Blackstone is deciding whether to float the company or sell it outright, said the Telegraph.
It announced today that Martin Robinson, chairman for the past 16 years, will be replaced by former Austrian Airlines boss Vagn Sorensen at the beginning of June.
Sorensen has been chairman of SSP, owner of the Upper Crust and Caffe Ritazza chains, since 2006. The firm entered the London Stock Exchange last year.
