Center Parcs UK up for sale
The Center Parcs’ UK business is in the shop window with a price of up to £5bn.
Owner Brookfield Property Partners has been actively seeking a buyer, the Financial Times reports.
It includes five UK parks and one in Ireland.
Brookfield bought the business for £2.4bn in 2015.
It is a profitable business again after the pandemic earning £66m in 2022 on revenue of £503m.
Center Parcs recently dropped plans for a new park in West Sussex over sustained conservation protests.
Center Parcs entered the UK market in 1987 at Sherwood Forest, Notts.
It has been a separate entity to the European division since 2001.
Center Parcs operates there in Germany, the Netherlands, France and Belgium.
