Charleston seeking more conventioneers
The Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau recently debuted its newly redesigned Web site.
Tourism officials say the major redesign was done to help meet two objectives: continuing to enhance the city’s brand, and to make connections between visitors and businesses in the regional travel industry.
New technology and database capabilities were utilized to enhance the overall experience, according to tourism officials.
The CVB’s Web side now receives about 1.4 million visits annually.
