CheapCaribbean.com Promises Agents 15% Commission — For Life

Saturday, 01 Feb, 2007 0

CheapCaribbean.com says all agents who register before 1 April will receive 15% commissions on the base price of all bookings they made on the site  —  for life.

The online agency says it has launched a new program that “proves its dedication to the traditional channels many US travelers prefer.”

“While most online travel companies refuse to pay more than 10-12% commissions and restrict commissions to the land-only portion of the booking, CheapCaribbean.com is investing wholeheartedly in the travel agent community,” said Jim Hobbs, founder and president of CheapCaribbean.com.

“We know that agents are some of our best partners and we are determined to continue to show them how important they are to us.”

Agents do not have to maintain any production goals or meet any criteria to maintain their 15% commission level.

Travel agents are responsible for approximately three percent of all sales currently booked on CheapCaribbean.com, a number that Mr Hobbs says he wants to triple over the next few months.

“We have the most competitive pricing in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Mexico. Agents should be able to take advantage of our deals, which can’t be found anywhere else,” he said.

To participate in the program, agents must register at CheapCaribbean.com using their CLIA, IATA, or ASTA registration number. Agents can then book directly on CheapCaribbean.com.

Headquartered in Doylestown, PA, CheapCaribbean.com has been in business since 2000. The multi-million dollar company passed the 250,000-reservations mark in 2005.
