Disneyland Resort Paris is celebrating its 15th birthday with new attractions, offers and entertainment for visitors arriving between November 10, 2006 and November 8, 2007.

To mark 15 years in Europe, Disneyland Resort Paris will unveil new entertainment and special offers starting from April 2007 including:

Two new family attractions opening in Walt Disney Studios Park in June 2007 – Crush’s Coaster, inspired by the popular Disney Pixar animation Finding Nemo, plunges guests into the underwater world of Nemo and Crush aboard a rollercoaster; while Cars Race Rally, inspired by the recent Disney Pixar animation Cars, sends guests spinning along Route 66 with Lightning McQueen and Mater.

Disney’s Once Upon A Dream Parade – a daily parade in Disneyland Park created especially for the 15th anniversary featuring a cast of favourite Disney Characters. The colourful procession features famous dream moments from popular Disney stories and is led by a float featuring an open book to symbolise dream images coming to life, with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a hot-air balloon, Donald Duck showering spectators with confetti, and Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale interacting with guests.

Candlelabration – at the end of each day the Disney Characters will gather on the forecourt stage in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, specially decorated and themed for the 15th Anniversary, to host a milestone birthday celebration with singing and dancing.

Disney Character Express transports a trainload of Disney Characters several times daily down Main Street to meet guests in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and at special locations added just for the celebration.

Extra Magic Hours in the theme parks – guests staying at one of Disney’s seven on-site hotels or at Hotel l’Elysée Val d’Europe will benefit from two extra hours in the morning or evening to enjoy specific areas of Disneyland Park on certain days of the week.

Kids Under Seven Stay and Play Free – children under seven staying in an on-site Disney Hotel or any of the hotels featured in the brochure and arriving from 30th March 2007 will benefit from free accommodation and free entrance to both Disney Parks.

Agents booking Eurostar packages can give their clients a taste of the Disney magic before they arrive in the Resort.  The Eurostar departure lounge at Waterloo will host a jazz band playing favourite Disney tunes on selected dates and boarding at Waterloo and Ashford will be announced by Mickey Mouse himself.  Once on board, younger guests will receive kids packs to keep them entertained throughout the journey and help them plan which rides to experience first.

A useful calendar is at the back of the brochure listing Disneyland Resort Paris’ seasonal entertainment including Disney’s Halloween Festival, the Christmas Season and the launch of the 15th anniversary celebrations in April 2007.  Offers are also highlighted including Kids Go Free for arrivals from 7th January to 29th March 2007; the new Kids Under Seven Stay and Play Free offer from 30th March 2007, an early booking discount of £90 on bookings taken before 30th April 2007 for Disney Hotel stays between 2nd September 2007 and 4th October 2007; plus free nights and days on selected dates.

To add greater value to their clients’ booking, agents can recommend Disney’s Half Board Meal Plans, an easy and affordable way to prepay either lunch or dinner with savings of up to 15%.  Guests can choose from up to 14 restaurants at the Disney Hotels and Parks and Disney Village and the option starts from £13 for adults and £6 for children under 12.

Agents can help their clients customise their holiday further with Disney’s Tailor Made Dreams packages.  These offer the option of a one night/two day stay with lower per night prices for longer stays; a wide range of hotels and transport options; and up to two extra nights accommodation and breakfast only.

To book agents can call Disneyland Resort Paris on 08705 200 700.  For details of travel agent concessions agents can call 00 33 1 60 30 60 31 or log on to www.disneytravelagents.co.uk.
