Chedi Andermatt launches new packages
Five-star deluxe Swiss design hotel the Chedi Andermatt has launched new packages for the winter 2017/18 season.
The packages range from private guided tours with an Olympic skier and scenic helicopter rides to exclusive sake and sushi tasting in the hotel’s newly Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant.
Located in the Swiss village of Andermatt, the Chedi Andermatt is known for its elegant design, which combines Swiss alpine chic with Asian Zen.
With developments underway for the new SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun ski area, guests will benefit from three new chairlifts giving access to a larger ski circuit and five new restaurants – all accessible from the hotel’s new ski-in/ski out facilities.
On Sunday March 4 2018, for one day only, adventurous guests will have the chance to ski alongside Olympic skier Marco Büchel.
The record-breaking Alpine ski racer will be a private guide for the day, through the pistes of SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun, and will be able to assist guests in perfecting their technique on the slopes.
Guests can also experience a bird’s-eye view of the Swiss Alps with a scenic helicopter flight, stopping off for a private champagne lunch at the top of the Sustenpass Mountain.
The three-night stay encourages guests to indulge in all things Swiss, with a wine and cheese experience, truffle fondue in the Chalet and an Alpienne Mountain massage.
Alongside days of skiing, guests can take part in an exclusive sushi and sake tasting experience at the hotel’s Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant. Also on offer is the chance to indulge in an Asian sharing dinner and unwind with a traditional ancient Balinese massage at The Spa.
Also on offer is a unique five-day wellness programme in collaboration with Top Hill Retreats, on March 18.
The itinerary includes pilates and yoga, back therapy and strength training, rounding off each day with a trip to the award-winning spa to enjoy the wellness facilities or indulge in a relaxing treatment.
