China Airlines opens interline partnership with Southwest Airlines
Taiwan based China Airlines has kicked off its new interline partnership with Southwest Airlines.
Airline officials celebrated the launch in Long Beach, California this week.
Customers can now book through tickets for travel starting January 19, 2026.
CAL customers can book through to cities such as Las Vegas, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Atlanta and Chicago, via CAL’s US flight network.
CAL currently flies to Los Angeles, Ontario, CA, San Francisco and Seattle.
The Taiwan airline is Southwest’s first partner in Asia.
Fellow Taiwan airline Starlux Airlines signed a similar interline agreement recently with American Airlines.
