China eases Covid curbs for domestic tour groups
China is easing more Covid restrictions for domestic group tours.
On trips organised by travel agencies, tourists can make cross-province trips with proof of a negative test result, the culture and tourism ministry said.
The ministry said a previous rule banning some travel when Covid cases emerge has been dropped.
Travel agents had been blocked from organising trips linking a county that has reported high or medium Covid risk.
However, the ministry said cross-border group travel in and out of China is still suspended.
