China hotel group Atour considering public listing in the US
Chinese hotel chain Atour is mulling an initial public offering (IPO) in the US which it hopes could value it at about $2 billion. A US IPO could raise $200 to $300 million.
The company operates more than 600 hotels across 170 cities in China. It operates multiple brands from budget to luxury. Atour could file for the IPO ‘very soon’ according to a source.
Domestic tourism has recovered well across China and is close to pre-pandemic levels. The listing would likely take place on the New York Stock Exchange.
