China Southern wants more NZ recognition
China Southern Airline’s new general manager in New Zealand, Mike Ma, sees lack of awareness for the world’s third biggest airline as the main challenge for his three year posting.
"I would like more New Zealand people to use China Southern to not only visit China but to travel to any of the 200 destinations we fly to around the world on our new Canton Route," Ma said.
"Our brand must become much better known and trusted by New Zealand people."
Ma said Guangzhou-based China Southern would work to strengthen cooperation with many people, including the government, travel agents, airports, cruise lines, the eduction sector and chambers of commerce.
China Southern’s regional general manager for Australia/New Zealand Henry He said China Southern was putting down deep roots in New Zealand, and would work closely with the travel industry to create greater awareness of its products and services.
