Chinese airlines in talks for more Airbus jets
Chinese airlines are in fresh talks with plane maker Airbus just days after confirming a bumper $37 billion deal.
Now Airbus is in ‘close contact’ with Chinese airlines for A220 aircraft. The A220 is a narrow-body jet with a capacity of up to 150 passengers.
State media reports that Airbus is ‘seeking to further increase its footprint in the Chinese market.’
Last week, Airbus announced a deal for,292 of its A320 jets to four Chinese airlines.
