Choice Hotels rolls out group booking tool
Choice Hotels has rolled out a new group booking feature online for loyalty members.
The Group Management Platform has been added to ChoiceHotels.com.
It enables Choice Privileges loyalty members to make single transactions of 10 rooms or more.
Guests may review full reservation details, select a variety of payment options, and make modifications to bookings at any time.
The new platform has been designed based on customer feedback, the company says.
"Choice is dedicated to streamlining the booking process across all channels. The new Group Management Platform provides a centralized solution for group travel planners," said Chad Fletcher, vice president of global sales.
It also features a Invite tool – sending customized email invitations for guests to book and confirm their reservations.
The group also this week announced a big expansion in California and Arizona with an agreement to develop 15 new-build midscale Sleep Inn and MainStay Suites brand hotels.
