CLIA appoints MSC exec as trade relations chair
Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has announced Ken Muskat as chairman of CLIA’s Trade Relations Committee.
Muskat takes over the Committee chairmanship from Brian O’Connor and serves as executive vice president of sales, public relations and guest services for MSC Cruises USA.
Alongside CLIA vice president of membership Charles Sylvia , Muskat will provide leadership and direction on travel agent relations, training, professional development programs and membership initiatives.
"It is a great honor to take on the role of chairman for the Trade Relations Committee. I look forward to working with the CLIA team and my fellow member cruise lines to continue to find new and innovative ways to keep travel agencies and agents as the main distribution channel for cruises and profitable for years to come," said Muskat.
Prior to joining MSC Cruises, Muskat worked at Royal Caribbean International in varied senior executive roles in sales, marketing and onboard revenue.
