CLIA launches workshops for ‘new to cruise’ agents
CLIA is launching nationwide workshops for travel agents new to cruise.
The five workshops will provide a combination of selling techniques for ocean and river cruise holidays, together with product knowledge and networking opportunities with cruise lines.
Entitled ‘Kick Start Your Cruise Sales’, the workshops will also appeal to less experienced cruise agents and will take place in Belfast, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and Norwich.
They will be accompanied by an online training module exclusively for those attending the workshops with both elements forming part of the CLIA UK & Ireland accreditation process.
CLIA UK & Ireland director, Andy Harmer, said: "Cruise holidays continue to grow in popularity so there’s huge potential for travel agents to increase their sales."
The workshops will take place in September, October and November. Places are limited and further information is available via: www.cruiseexperts.org
