Club Med checking in to Krabi
Club Med has inked a deal to bring a second all-inclusive resort to Thailand.
It signed an agreement with Thailand’s Apex Development PCL to develop the $90 million resort in tourist hotspot Krabi.
The resort will offer 300 rooms and an additional 50 suites in the Exclusive Collection and is scheduled to open in 2021.
Club Med Krabi becomes the second location in the Land of Smiles 40 years after establishing a resort in Phuket.
Located on Krabi’s Long Beach, it offers deirct beachfront access just 30 minutes from the airport.
It will feature the resort operator’s signature sports activities and amenities.
Building work will have minimal environmental impact as set out by Club Med’s Green Globe certification.
